The Dioroma

The whole of Nov. was spent planning and making a Diorama. We had gathered fabric, bottles, paper, card and other recyclables.Miss Kirk and Mrs. Nolan discussed how to make an underwater Diorama and we came up ideas of which fish to include. We made crabs, swordfish, clownfish, coralsnake, glowfish, and rainbow fish.Sean Forde, Mrs. Fordes husband built the outside of the Diorama. The we painted it.
We made our fish out of all the recyclables.
It looks BRILLANT!!!
All of Our Mammies and Daddies admired it at our Christmas Concert.
Thanks to all involved.

Cookies for Christmas

On the 18th Dec. 2008 we made some Christmas Sweets at school in Mrs. Nolan's Class. We made Truffles,Chocolate Cherries,Peppermint Creams,Chocolates and Shortbread.Bernie helped us to make the shortbread. For the Truffles we had a choice of chocolate or Coconut sprinkles to put on.

The most difficult item to make were the Truffles but they were worth the effort!

We all enjoyed ourselves and we hope to make more at home during the Christmas.
